Whether on set, negotiating with clients, or working on an edit, these values shape the way we approach creating films

1. Be Kind. Prioritizing human dignity is a choice we make every day. Kindness is not mutually exclusive to success. There’s no room for embarrassment on sets, and no room to make anyone feel less than. Everyone is valued. This makes a team stronger and makes films better. Only through kindness can we make the type of films we want to make.

2. Servant Leadership.We believe that those in charge of projects have a responsibility to make work easier for everyone else. It’s an honor and a privilege to be able to do the small, difficult, and unnoticed things that make a team successful.

3. Excitement for Hard Conversations: Only through conversations can we find compromise, which makes projects better and stronger. We are eager to have hard conversations.

4. Transparency in all Credits/Monetary Things: Credits are fair and accurate, and they evolve as roles evolve. Budgets are clear to everyone involved in projects. Learning the financial side of filmmaking is a privilege, and it is something we share along the way.

5. Obsessive Attention to Quality and Originality: We put a very high emphasis on making something original that captivates audiences. Even in our commercial work, we find ways to push the envelope and create something original.

6. Every Project Has Its Own Pace: Rest is important. Patience is important. We won’t artificially speed up timelines for the sake of productivity. We believe every project has its own pace, and we work at that pace. 

7. Different Voices and Experiences: We strive to surround ourselves with divergent thinkers and people with different backgrounds/experiences. There is beauty in dissenting opinions. Projects are made stronger by a wide range of ideas.

8. Desire and Openness to Improvement/Learning: learning new technologies, techniques, or processes can be difficult. We love this challenge. We strive to change/improve ourselves and processes every day.
