Surprising experiences with cinema.
We host pop-up cinema screenings because we miss seeing great movies with friends. The films will be a curated selection of masterpieces made throughout history (not films we have made). The films are projected outdoors at various venues (backyards, farms, parks, etc) around Durham, and the title of the film is not revealed until the presentation is about to begin. We want this to be a surprise when you show up.
What is a Pop-Up movie screening?
When is the next pop-up?
Registration for the next pop-up is live! The event is November 6. Click the button below to signup for the event via Partiful. RSVP is required to attend, but it is free and open to public!
September 16, 2026 | Lynda FundraiserOver 60 community members joined a 25 minute screening from LYNDA at Fullframe Theater and Fullsteam in the American Tobacco district in downtown Durham. It was a memorable event with meaningful discussions and heartfelt testimony. We raised over $35,000 from the evening’s sponsors towards finishing funds.
